The 9/11 Report: A Graphic Adaptation – Sid Jacobson & Ernie Colón (2006)

Do you remember where you where on September 11th, 2001?

I do. I was in my high school World Issues class, then watched the second plane and everything that happened there after live on CNN from the computers in the school library.

This graphic novel is the culmination of the entire 9/11 Commission, broken down into a graphic novel.

The idea behind this book is to illustrate the 800+ page findings of the Commission's Report, as well as the events leading up to that fateful morning.

A difficult read to be sure, given the challenging subject matter, but interesting and completely digestible.

The first 30 some odd pages are divided between the 5 different planes and show the parallel time lines of each plane.

Due to the nature of the subject matter the book is occasionally graphically descriptive.
